Year 3

Working together for a successful future

Year 3

Year 3 is an exciting time as children transition into Key Stage 2. This year builds on the strong foundations from Key Stage 1, with a focus on developing greater independence, resilience, and deeper understanding across all subjects.

Our curriculum in Year 3 encourages curiosity and creativity, with engaging topics that inspire learning in reading, writing, maths, science, history, geography, and more. We aim to foster a love of learning while supporting each child’s individual progress and confidence.

What Our Parents Say About Year 3

"Paisley had had a wonderful year with Miss Hunter and Mrs Kingsbury. Her confidence in herself and her work have increased so much and I couldn’t be more proud of her progress. Thank you for being amazing!"

"I am so pleased with how well Brody has done this year. He became a lot more confident and happy to go to school. When doing homework with him it is clear to see how much he has grown in confidence with both his English and mathematics.  Thank you."
