A Letter from our Headteacher
Working Together for a Successful Future
It is a privilege to introduce myself as the Headteacher of this wonderful school. From my very first week, it has been clear that Queensgate is a vibrant, caring, and ambitious community where children are placed firmly at the heart of every decision. The warmth of the staff, the enthusiasm of the children, and the support of our families make this a truly special place to learn and grow.
Our school vision is built around five core values: Compassion, Curiosity, Courage, Collaboration, and Creativity. These values shape our culture, our curriculum, and the way we support every child. We encourage pupils to show compassion in their relationships, to be curious learners who ask questions, to show courage when facing challenges, to collaborate with others, and to express their creativity in all aspects of school life. Together, these values help our children develop into confident, thoughtful, and resilient young people.
One of the standout features of our school is the Out and About Curriculum. We believe that learning should extend far beyond the classroom walls. Through rich experiences in our local environment and wider community, children develop independence, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. These opportunities bring learning to life and support the development of well-rounded, confident young people.
Our most recent Ofsted report reflects the dedication and hard work of the entire school community. We continue to build on this strong foundation, while maintaining the nurturing ethos that makes Queensgate unique.
I am incredibly proud to lead Queensgate Primary School and excited about the future we will shape together. Whether you are a current parent, a prospective family, or a member of our wider community, I warmly invite you to explore our website and discover more about the opportunities and experiences we offer or come and see us in action.
