School Admissions Consultation 2028

Consultation Period: 12 October 2026 – 7 December 2026
As a Foundation School, the Governing Body of Queensgate Foundation Primary
School is its own admission authority. In accordance with the statutory requirements
of the Department for Education’s School Admissions Code, the school is required to
consult on its admission arrangements at least once every seven years, even if no
changes are being proposed.
We are currently conducting this statutory 7-year review. Please note that no
changes are being proposed to our existing admissions criteria or our
Published Admission Number (PAN), which remains at 60.

How to Share Your Views
We invite parents, carers, local residents, and other community stakeholders to
share their views or feedback on our admission arrangements.
Comments must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Monday 7 December 2026 via one of
the following methods:

● By Post: Clerk to the Governing Body, Queensgate Foundation Primary
School, Beatrice Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6PA.
Following the closing date, all feedback will be formally considered by the Governing
Body before the final policy is determined.
